Eight members of Shaker Farms Garden Club decorated the Harrison Branch of the Public Library for the Holiday Season on Tuesday, Nov. 27. Each section of the library decorations that covered Christmas, Hanukah, and Kwanza. The club started about six years ago decorating the library through the efforts of Dianne Jackson, club member and volunteer at the library. Many of the wreaths are hand made with dried and preserved plant materials. This year’s leader was Paulla Dill. She also set up her own Christmas Village in the entrance lobby of the library. The entrance urns were filled with fresh greens, holiday colored balls and pinecones similar to the Beautify Harrison Pots on the downtown street corners.
