While serving in the U.S. Marine Corps in 1950 during the Korean War, Pfc. William B. Baugh died after falling on a grenade and saving his comrades from serious injury or possible death. Baugh, who moved to Harrison when he was 10, was given the Medal of Honor. A portion of Harrison Avenue is being named the Medal of Honor Recipient Pfc. William B.
