After winning a district wrestling title, improving his season record to 44-0, and breaking the single-season school record for pins, Harrison senior heavyweight Truman Gutapfel is on the precipice of the ultimate in high-school wrestling - a state championship.
Gutapfel pinned his first three opponents in the district meet. Kendric Dorsey of Belmont went down in 5:47; Alex Dalton of Troy was vanquished in 1:07; and Aaron Cosby of Springfield was tapped out at the 2:22 mark. To read the rest of this article please subscribe or sign in |
