| Wildcats claw back but fall short to Elder |

The Elder Panthers were not a very good three-point shooting team during the regular season, but in their first-round sectional victory over the Harrison Wildcats last Saturday afternoon, Elder made their first two attempts from beyond the arc, which spurred them to an early 16-3 lead and the Cats could never climb out of the hole. The Panthers went 7 for 15 from beyond the arc for a .467 shooting percentage for the game. Harrison, on the other hand, made just 3 of 13 from three-point range for a .231 mark.
