We owe our veterans and troops a big thank you for all their service, sacrifice and strength. We will salute them in a special section Wednesday, May 18, in The Harrison Press and Thursday, May 19, in The Dearborn County Register and The Rising Sun Recorder.

The Flag Club at Harrison High School came up with several design concepts for the new City of Harrison flag and presented those designs before the City Council at the community center on Tuesday, April 19.

On Thursday, April 14 at 10:30 a.m. the Harrison Police department opened their doors for some interested people to see what goes on inside police headquarters.

The Harrison Ladycats softball team fell to one of the best teams in southeast Indiana on Saturday as Franklin County’s Kam McCool tossed a no hitter in the 4-0 win for Franklin County. McCool struck out 14 Harrison batters.
