Harrison kicked off the state team wrestling tournament with an easy 69-8 victory over Mount Healthy last week.

The Cats will host the regional semi-finals on Wednesday at the Harrison Activity Center. Harrison will take on Princeton and Elder will battle St. Xavier in simultaneous matches.

The two winners will then wrestle for a spot in the regional finals on Feb. 6.

The Cats lost just two matches to Mount Healthy at 138 and 182 lbs.

“The kids wrestled hard,” said Harrison coach Chad Dennis.
