Miamitown is celebrating its 200th anniversary and it’s going to be a party you won’t want to miss.
The Miamitown Bicentennial and Art Show will take place Saturday, Oct. 1, and Sunday, Oct. 2, in the historic rivertown.

A benefit will be held Saturday, Oct. 1, at Harrison VFW Duwel Post 7570 for Steve “Sparky” Sparks, Harrison, who continues his battle with cancer to assist with his medical and living expenses.

The goal against Ross last Friday night was to get off to a fast start and that’s exactly what the Harrison defense did in a 42-7 rout of the Rams in Ross as the Cats opened the Southwest Ohio Conference football schedule on a winning note and evened their overall record at 2-2.

On Tuesday, Sept. 6, Mayor William Neyer promoted Andrew Hardwick, Daric Hamon, Jason Krupp, Andrew Robben, Adam Saddler and Josh Volkerding.

If you love to eat, downtown in the streets of the Harrison Historical District is the place to be  Saturday, Sept. 10.

The Harrison boys’ golf team missed a golden opportunity to take control of the Southwest Ohio Conference race when the Cats fell to Talawanda last week by a score of 176-185. It was the first loss of the league season for the Cats, who are 3-1 in league play and a match behind undefeated Little Miami.
