Harrison wrestlers find success

Truman Gutapfel is having a season to remember for the Harrison Wildcats wrestling team. The senior heavyweight improved his record to a sparkling 28-0 as he captured the 285 lb. weight class in the Fairfield Invitational on Saturday afternoon.

Gutapfel, who has moved up in the state rankings to second, defeated the third-best heavyweight in the state, Lakota East’s Jacob Burton, a state placer at 195 lb. a year ago, for the second time this season. The win at Fairfield was by a score of 3-1.
