Applications are available for seniors who need help with heating bills through the Home Energy Assistance Program.

The program is available in regular and emergency form. People can find out whether they are eligible by completing an application. HEAP is for low-income utility customers of any age, but Council on Aging  provides information and applications to seniors.

Applications for folks 60 or older may be submitted through Sunday, March 31. To receive an application, call 721-1025.

Individuals may qualify with annual incomes of up to $22,340, or couples with annual incomes of up to $30,260.
