Tractor Supply Company will contribute $750 to the Miami Whitewater Forest horse trail refurbishment and rerouting project.
The funds, managed by the Hamilton County Park Foundation, will go towards improving 5,000 feet of older trails for horseback riders.
The funds were donated by Tractor Supply through an American Quarter Horse Association trail conservation program.
The grant was issued through the Stewards for Trails, Education and Partnerships program.
STEP allows groups and individuals to submit proposals for projects that fund and generate awareness for trail conservation projects nationwide.
A committee consisting of officials from AQHA, Tractor Supply, Equestrian Land Conservation Resource and National Forest

“Through this donation, we hope to not only generate awareness about preserving riding trails for our customers, but also stress the importance of environmental stewardship and land conservation for future generations,” said John Wendler, senior vice president of marketing.
