Harrison Junior School’s massive wrestling tournament on Saturday, Jan. 12, will have a special guest. Harrison High School alumnus Rich Franklin will visit the tournament to speak with the teams and sign autographs for fans.

Franklin is a mixed martial arts competitor and a member of the Ultimate Fighting Championship organization. Franklin formerly held the middleweight championship belt in the UFC.

“This is our third year working on our relationship with Rich,” said Harrison Junior School athletic director Mark Meibers. “He’s donated items the past two years to the boosters for their reverse raffle. It’s going to be great to have him come out here and talk with the kids.”
