As part of the larger discussion about transforming educational practice, Ohio is taking a snapshot of technology in its schools. The state, through its Speak Up Ohio survey, is collecting information about “what could be” from students, families and educators. The goal is to capture existing classroom technology and to understand what technology students, families and teachers believe should be in classrooms. The free survey collects information on teaching and learning with technology, online assessment, and digital citizenship. Speak Up Ohio also collects data on emerging technology topics including mobile devices, online and blended learning, e-textbooks and digital content. The deadline for completion is Friday, Dec. 14.
