The battle for control of the Southwest Ohio Conference in girls’ basketball will be wide open this season, according to Harrison Ladycats coach Stuart Scrivner. Wilmington, Talawanda and Edgewood are projected to be the teams fighting for the first title in the new league and that doesn’t even include Mount Healthy, a district finalist last season. “All those teams will be a challenge for us,” said Scrivner, whose team was projected to finish fourth in the SOC this season by league coaches.
