Last Wednesday night at the football award ceremony, Gutapfel was selected the winner of the Sports Corner Award, which is emblematic of the most valuable player for the Wildcats football team, according to coach Kent McCullough. Gutapfel was selected for the honor by his teammates and McCullough and his coaching staff couldn’t have agreed more with the decision.
