Hamilton County commissioners Wednesday, Nov. 14, overturned a decision by the county rural zoning commission that paves the way for the Jehovah Witnesses to build an assembly hall and church in the Harrison Township / Harrison Joint Economic Development District.

Hamilton County Commission President Greg Hartman joined commissioners Chris Monzel and Todd Portune in paving the way for a Jehovah's Witness assembly hall/worship center in the Harrison Township/Harrison Joint Economic Development District, overturning a decision by the county's Rural Zoning Commission that had denied a zone change.

A unanimous vote was required to overturn the rural zoning board's decision this past summer which said that the church and assembly hall were not suited for the commercial/industrial park.

Township attorney, William Keating, argued that JED state law “trumped” local zoning laws. Commissioners rejected that argument.

More than 50 members of the Jehovah Witness organization waited in a nearby conference room for the decision.

Philip King, legal counsel for the Jehovah Witnesses, said the organization will be a good neighbor and will provide economic benefits to Harrison and nearby communities. He said the thousands of church members who will attend assemblies throughout the year will spend money at local restaurants, gas stations, and other retailers.

To all people who say Jehovah's witnesses are a cult, I would like to share just two reasons why Jehovah's Witnesses and cults are different:
Jehovah's witnesses:
Hard to get into, easy to get out of.
Cults:
Easy to get into, hard to get out of.

Jehovah’s Witnesses for most part don’t support any charities because Watchtower teaches them that the only way people will get help is through God’s kingdom so helping poor is a waste of time.

Watchtower also teaches that the way to help people is for JWs to preach to others their message which for most part includes much misrepresentati on of the group’s history, misrepresentati on of many sources they quote in their magazines and basically being negligent when it comes to human life when in need of blood transfusions.


Jehovah's Witnesses are not just "another religion".
They use deception and coercive tactics much like hard core cults except worse they come on your door step and talk to your family.

The Watchtower Publishing Company maintains control of all kingdom halls and after the loan made to each local congregation is paid off the company sells the property and moves on to another location to build another kingdom hall and the cycle is repeated again and again.

Jehovah's Witnesses go door to door teaching that Jesus had an invisible 'return' in October 1914 and in 1919 appointed the Watchtower Publishing Company as His mouthpiece. According to JW doctrine everyone who rejects the Watchtower Publishing Company will be annihilated soon.

They have been preaching that false message for almost 100 years.I also preached that false gospel until I woke up.

Jehovah's Witnesses are truly unique among religions today.
1. They operate exactly ZERO charitable organizations
2. They operate soley as a corporate entity (legal dept runs everything)
3. Any love they show each other is fake and flimsy and will be turned off in a instant if you question
4. Allow their members to die because of wilfull misinterpretati on of scripture concerning Blood transfusions
5. Hold the record for the largest Lawsuit award against them for child sex abuse (google it)

Jehovah's Witness religion makes a big deal about it not 'taking collection plates' at assemblies or Kingdom Hall meetings.

Yet they encourage brainwashed elderly people to leave their estates to its financial holdings and they "guilt goad guilt trip" everyone who is a member to do everything for the corporation for free.

A collection plate is nickles and dimes compared to the charitable giving article they publish in the Watchtower suggesting that members donate their estate, jewelry, stocks and investments to the corporation. See the Watchtower of November 2007 and it will show that this is true. Go to a JW convention and see they have "contribution" boxes at every egress.

Why settle for some meager chump change in a plate when you can go after the big bucks of an estate?
