Scrapbooking. It is like sanctioned coloring on the walls for adults.
Veterans and novices alike attended the first scrapbooking  “crop” in Harrison held at Legacy Christian Church, 216 N. Sycamore St., Friday, Nov. 2.

Snacks and drinks were provided, door prizes were offered and Creative Memories scrapbooking items were available to purchase.  
The scrapbookers brought a lot of their own items. Some brought bags. Some brought suit cases full.  I brought a note pad, a pen and good intentions.

I didn’t know exactly what to expect when I walked into the crop. It seemed to me scrapbooking was fairly similar to laying out and designing a newspaper. There was just a little more freedom and a lot more glue.
