Sometimes when a coach says he can’t choose a starting lineup it’s because he doesn’t have enough good players to fill out a lineup card.

For Harrison Ladycats basketball coach Stuart Scrivner, though, depth is one of the strengths of this year’s team and that has made it difficult to select the starting unit.

“I think I’ve got eight players who could start for us,” he said. “We’ve had seven practices and one scrimmage thus far and I think our strength this year is going to be our numbers.”
