Cold facts about saving money

Editor:
I am writing in response to the article about the lean budget for 2013 for Harrison. I suggest the heating and air conditioning units be replaced or repaired.

I believe the city could save a lot of money if this were done. I attend the senior center. Some days it is so cold that people keep their coats on. On a few occasions, I have taken an afghan in to throw over our legs.

The hall, craft room, and card room are usually colder than our big meeting room. I am referring to the air conditioning. The heat in the winter is not the greatest.

I also believe a lot of money was wasted on the dog park. I very seldom see one person in there with a dog.
