| Harrison doc named to county disabilities board |

Dr. Cindy Molloy, Harrison, recently was appointed by Hamilton County commissioners to the Board of Hamilton County Developmental Disabilities Services to fill an unexpired term. Hamilton County DD Services provides for more than 8,500 children and adults with disabilities. Most recently, for 10 years, she was associated with Cincinnati Children’s Hospital and The Kelly O’Leary Center as an autism researcher. In addition to Cincinnati Children’s Hospital, she has been with The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, The University of Cincinnati and The University of Louisville School of Medicine. Molloy has authored numerous articles and studies that have been published and presented in several professional journals and conferences. Molloy earned a bachelor’s degree in natural science from Xavier University in 1979, and an M.D. from The University of Cincinnati in 1983. She and her husband, Dr. Mark Molloy, chief of surgery at V.A. Medical Center, are the parents of two daughters. One daughter is 19 years old and has Autism and intellectual disabilities.
