Mercy Health Harrison Medical Center, 10450 New Haven Road, is sporting a giant illuminated pink ribbon every night in October to recognize the battle against breast cancer.

“At Mercy Health, we are proud to live out our mission by encouraging people to spread the message and move “beyond awareness” in the fight against breast cancer,”  said public relations director Nanette Bentley.

“Everywhere you look throughout the month of October, we hope you will be encouraged to move beyond awareness, and take action for yourself or a loved one.”

Any woman who receives a mammogram through Monday, Dec. 31, at any Mercy Health location, including Mercy Health’s Mobile Mammography Units, is eligible to win one of three Mercy Health - HealthPlex spa packages, valued at  $200, she said.

Mercy Health will draw a winner at the end of each month. Medicare/Medicaid beneficiaries are not eligible based on federal law.

Mercy Health, which has been serving Greater Cincinnati for more than 160 years, provides an integrated network of  physicians, caregivers, comprehensive services and exceptional care at more than 100 locations throughout the region.
